Three rose gardens as a symbol of peace

All 111 teams of the AOR (Allgäu-Orient-Rallye 2016) received a special task: to organise three rose bushes per rally car. These rose bushes will be used to plant a peace rose garden each in Oberstaufen (DE), Istanbul (TR) and Tiflis (GEO). They are meant to be symbols of friendship and peace. We should not let ourselves be brought down by terrorism or other authoritarian impulses. Fundamentally, all people in the world long for a life in peace.

All nine rose bushes were sponsored for us by Rosen Huber AG in Dottikon. The company Lastech – laser cutting is a core competency of Lastech – is sponsoring us with a laser-engraved team commemorative plaque with a ground spike in stainless steel for each rose garden. Many thanks.
