Tempi Passat(i)

Even harder than starting a great journey is finishing it well. That is something Team # 85 | Judo goes Orient is experiencing right now. Whether the journey has already begun is debatable. The Allgäu-Orient-Rallye officially doesn’t start until tomorrow, Saturday. We planned enough time and drove to Oberstaufen with our three vehicles and trailers already on Thursday. Strictly speaking, only with two: because the VW Passat (Rösli) drops out before even reaching Oberstaufen. It ends up being towed there. At 9 pm the diagnosis: turbo failure, catalytic converter soaked in oil. A repair would be very costly and further damage would have to be expected.

We are now planning to continue without our Rösli and are looking into alternatives.
