Moving into the Oase

You have to be lucky. By chance we got a unique opportunity. A building standing empty that won’t be demolished for another year and a half – we can use it for free, redesign it, and turn it into our garage and office. What a stroke of luck! (A heartfelt thank you at this point to the architecture firm Josef Scherer.)

But before “our” Oase could be used, a fair amount of work had to be done. Under the motto “Moving into the Oase” we pruned, mowed, wired, hammered and cleaned! We even widened the door so that we could drive the rally cars inside. (Winter is coming :-))

At the next session we will continue with the interior fittings. One thing is clear: our Oase offers plenty of storage space for the relief supplies and for work on the vehicles. Perfect for getting ourselves optimally prepared for the rally.
