One rally car is already ready

In recent months and weeks we have been intensively focused on the technical preparation of the three BMWs right through to the vehicle inspection (MFK). We’ve been wrenching away, overhauling brakes, fixing oil leaks on engines, repairing rust and welding in new panels, and much more besides. With great delight, “Gloria” became the first rally car to pass the MFK first time around.

A few days later, “Gloria” is standing in the car park in front of the Hallauer AG body shop in Wohlenschwil. Now the apprentices at Hallauer AG were called upon in a trainee project to paint “Gloria” into a striking rally car. The apprentices developed the entire concept and design themselves. Their master craftsman Michael Hallauer offered only minimal guidance.

Last Saturday morning we were able to pick up the freshly painted “Gloria”. We were left speechless in the car park when we saw the strikingly gleaming “Gloria”. “It is a tremendous achievement by the apprentices of Hallauer AG and a huge act of generosity by the company Hallauer AG towards Team Judo goes Orient. THANK YOU.

One thing led straight to the next, with the freshly painted car heading to our Oase and then to the Berger joinery in Boswil to mount the roof box. After a productive discussion, the team got hands-on and the roof box was fitted professionally. The freshly painted “Gloria” with its mounted roof box can now be admired at the SCHEGA (Schenkenberger Gewerbeausstellung) in Schinznach Dorf from 06.09. – 08.09.2019. We very much look forward to your visit at the SCHEGA.
