Full Steam Ahead
Dear JGO Fans
We have kicked off the new year 2020 with full energy and wish you a powerful 2020! The JGO Team is now on the home straight. In just a few months, starting on 9 May, our rally begins and we embark on our humanitarian mission.
Rally cars
We are putting the finishing touches on our rally cars. Gloria is already ready for action and equipped with additional headlights, a roof box and sleeping arrangements. Selma has been freshly painted with this year’s rally design by the apprentices at Hallauer AG and will be inspected by the vehicle registration office next week. Alexa needed new rear brakes last week. Thanks to a generous donation, we have received another horse trailer and goods transport trailer for our convoy. The three trailers therefore offer plenty of space for the relief supplies.
Crowdfunding – Soup kitchen
Since last week we have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdify. With this crowdfunding we are raising money for the soup kitchen at the orphanage in Romania. You can support us by sharing and linking the following link on your social networks. The more people find out about it and support us, the greater the chance that we will meet or even exceed our crowdfunding goal. Aid projects, donations in kind
We are in ongoing contact with the orphanages in Romania and Bulgaria. Our collection list is always up to date. In recent weeks we have spent a lot of time taking stock of the donations in kind. Our warehouse fills up week by week and we are on a very positive collecting course. If you still have good-condition school backpacks, feel free to drop them off directly with us. The next drop-off date is this Friday, 17 January, 17:00 – 19:00 for direct handover at the Oase.
Spoon project
We are happily receiving your signed spoons for our spoon project but we can still use many more spoons! Ask your families, friends and work colleagues for more spoons – have the spoon signed by the donor with a waterproof pen – and hand it to us.

Rally Warm-Up Party
Save the date 18.04.2020
For this rally too, we are organising our great Rally Warm-Up Party on 18 April 2020 in the evening (from 21:00 with a well-known DJ) at the Andalusia Mellingen. The last chance to wish us all the best before the start and to party with us one more time before we set off. So we’ll see you at the Rally Warm-Up Party on 18.04.2020!
