STV Besenbüren Sponsors a Transport Bus for the "Soup Kitchen"

We are absolutely thrilled! The Turnverein Besenbüren decided at their 2020 annual general meeting to sponsor a transport bus for the “Soup Kitchen” in Romania.

Green light for the “Soup Kitchen” in Piatra Neamt, Romania. Thanks to the STV Besenbüren it is now possible to procure a bus in Switzerland and deliver it to Romania in person. The “Soup Kitchen” is a meal service for poor and homeless people and is run by the orphanage in Piatra Neamt.

Every 3–5 days the surrounding families are supplied with a warm meal. The current transport bus broke down definitively three weeks ago and can no longer be repaired, which means the meal service can only be carried out with great difficulty. Our search for a transport bus is already well underway and we are very confident that we will soon have procured and delivered a transport bus for the “Soup Kitchen”. The STV Besenbüren organises the well-known “Höllefäscht” in Besenbüren every year. This year it takes place on 31 July and 1 August 2020.

In return for the generous donation from the STV Besenbüren, we will brand the transport bus with STV Besenbüren as a sponsor. More on that once we have procured the bus.
