The Final Preparations Are in Full Swing…

It won’t be long now before the wheels start rolling on the rally cars and the trailer. But a little more patience is still called for in Judo goes Orient | Team #85.

This Saturday and Sunday were used to do the final loading, cleaning and fitting-out of the rally cars and trailer. The sleeping platform was built in and the test lie-down proved a success. The first memories of the «Mini Rally 2020» came flooding back.

All the gear is now loaded and packed. We could almost set off right now… 😊 The final checks with the embassies in Romania and Bulgaria are still to be done at the start of next week.

Shopping for food for our team — oh yes, and a beer or so — is also on the programme for Tuesday. A few more odds and ends to sort out, and then each team member packs their personal belongings.

It won’t be long until Wednesday, 05.05. at 12:12 when the call goes out: «Engines start, heading for Romania and Bulgaria».
