Over Kitzbühel to Innsbruck…

Day 25: Döbriach (A) – Innsbruck (A)

We slept wonderfully on the beautifully situated campsite «Brunner am See» on the Millstätter See and woke to very pleasant weather. A quick breakfast and we’re already rolling towards Innsbruck again. We drive through beautiful valleys and very hilly landscapes, then through the Felbertauern Tunnel which separates the state of Tyrol from Salzburg.

As we drive into Kitzbühel, the spontaneous idea comes to us to take a look at the famous finish slope of the world-renowned Hahnenkamm race right there on the spot. After that we continue to Innsbruck, which will be our overnight base right in the heart of the city today.

Today is our last rally night before we return to our Oase. To celebrate the rally, we cook ourselves a fine dinner.

Brief summary:

Day twenty-five takes us through beautiful Alpine scenery and through the Felbertauern Tunnel. A short detour through Kitzbühel is a must, and then we’re in Innsbruck making ourselves a lovely pasta bolognese. Enjoy.

Return: We will arrive on Sunday, 30 May 2021 at 17:00 at the Oase Wohlen (Untere Farnbühlstrasse 52, 5610 Wohlen).
